Like a phoenix rising from the ashes Winchester BMX is back from the dead. Well maybe not dead but damn close. The BMX track in Winchester VA got a major and much needed overhaul this past weekend. The first turn was filled in some so that you can actually hold your speed into the second straight and the third and fourth straights were completly torn out and rebuilt. The third straight is a jumpers paradise, done trail style, complete with a five pack. The fourth straight is a super technical rhythm section. Ive posted a couple of pics and you can click on them, to link to the track website, for more pics, schedule and race times. From what Ive heard this is the gnarliest layout the track has ever had. Also, if Im not mistakin, this year is its 25 year anniversary. So next time your there give the the track a pat on the ass and tell the old girl she still looks good.

  Were getting in a bunch of Profile cranks this week. Black, Chrome AND Limited Edition WHITE. You read it right. White Profiles. This is the first time they have released a crank in any color besides black and were gona have em' first. Hurry though, these are super limited and are gona go fast!!! Also Dan Depre texted me today and said he went to the Avalon Park Sunday and that it kicks serious ass and no crowds!

  We got in a huge order from Little Devil this week. Im officially over Winter. I suppose that the only thing there is to do is go ride inside. Speaking of which , in case you didnt know, theres a new indoor park that opened near BWI airport called Avalon. Ive posted up some pics and you can link to their myspace page. Rumor is that they used the old section 8 ramps and that they will be opening an outdoor park this summer.  5871 Washington Blvd. Elkridge MD.  Sun 12-4 & 6-10. Tues, Thurs and Fri 6-10. And sessions are 5 bucks for four hours.
