Skate Inventory Updated...
I have updated the skate inventory page and well have a new skate
team page up and running pretty soon. Speaking of new, well be starting our new shop mini ramp next week. Weve
got some top secret plans for it and its gona be sick.
Im hopping a plane for Orlando in the morning so Tommy
and Steve will be behind the wheel this weekend at the shop. Unfortunatly my trip is business related and really nothing to
do with hitting any skateparks or anything fun. Have a good weekend. Ill see you monday.

Go Skateboarding Day Wrap Up...
Go Skateboarding Day should be a legal holiday. Seriously. Shame on you if
you didnt take advantage of all the good things going on for it this year. If you werent at the shop you missed out on
a hell of a goodtime. The pictures dont do it justice but there was so much going on it was hard to snap good pics. The
ramp got shredded all afternoon and evening. The Sheperdstown skate scene was well represented by the kids from the Lost Dog
Coffee House. If you have never checked that place out do it now. It rules. These kids are gnarly, they had the most
original lines all day using the mini as a street spine and doing boneless's at a 100 miles an hour off the deck. Did
I mention they were the youngest kids there!!!!
Free food and 10% off all skate stuff had the place packed to
compacity when the Mini Ramp comp started. You couldnt even turn around because of the crowd. The contest went off. These
kids pushed it to the absolute limit and everybody kicked ass. The crowd was into it, super loud, and had everybody stoked.
The contest was judged on who flowed the best run in a jam style format. Gary Saxe Jr. hooked up some way consistant runs
throwing out 5.0 grinds that Im sure he inherited from his dad. This kid had never ridden the ramp until an hour before the
comp and made it look like he had been riding it since day one.
Kenny Shitbags skated like a man on a mission.
I have no idea why I gave him the nickname Shitbags. Im pretty sure he completly hates it but it gives me a chuckle when
I say it. Anyway, Kenny is one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet and progress's everytime I see him skate. Hes got
raw determination and threw out some killer runs that included backside 50/50 to half cab fakie to ollie to disaster.
It was close between Kenny and Zack Dawson but Zack stole it with a banger of a final run whipping out a Hurricane to
Sex Change Varial to Frontside Ollie, floating the ramp from one side to the other way above coping, and making it look easy.
Zack took the title of King Of The Shop Mini and a new Conversion deck home.

3rd place Gary Saxe Jr.
A huge Thank You goes out to
everybody who came out and celebrated the holiday with us. Theres many more good years ahead. However the Freshpark mini we
have now is being retired and well be building a new wider and more versital shop mini next week!!!! Well be having another
contest, on the new ramp, in late July. Also we got new Krooked, DGK, Crimson and ATM decks in today as well more Indy
trucks and some other stuff for your shopping pleasure. Dont forget well have the brand new Terry Kennedy Bakers in by mid
next week!!!!

Go Skateboarding Day...
So heres the scoop on Go Skateboarding Day on Thursday. We open at 2pm and
are giving 10% off skate merchandise all day. The ramp will be open to everybody all afternoon until 5pm. The main fiesta
kicks off at 5 with some free eats. There will be half an hour of practice for those entering the King of the Shop Mini contest
from 5-5:30 and the contest will kickoff at 5:45. There will be NO structured run. Just a jam style format of everybody taking
runs at their leisure. Whoever puts together the best run will take home a new Conversion deck and King Of The Shop bragging
rights. Remember, this is all for fun. There is NO entry fee, NO pressure or smack talking just goodtimes and skateboarding.

Its the weekend again...
Both the Skate and the BMX inventory is officialy updated. We also received
a big Shadow Conspiracy Re-Up order today including 11-B and 13B Bars, Banger Grips (all colors), Alfred Lite seatpost clamps
(all colors) and Crowgora 25T sprockets. Always remember and never forget we price at OR lower than the big mailorder companys.
Damn the mailorder machine!!!!

7 Days until Go Skateboarding Day
Ye ah Son!!!!!!!!! Go Skateboarding Day is just a week away!! Were stoked and to
celebrate were having a good 'ol skate jam on Thursday, June 21. Although were usually closed on Thursdays were throwing
the doors open at 2pm and giving 10% off all skate merchandise all day. The Fiesta kicks off at 5pm with the King Of The Shop
Mini Ramp Contest with the winner, with the best run, taking home bragging rights as the King of the Shop and also a
brand new Conversion Deck! Stay tuned for more updates...

Monday Nights...
We had a pretty good Monday night session at the shop tonight. Everybody killed
it accept for me!! I was struggling for sure. Mr. Wendell straight up owns the shop mini and we put our seal of approval on
it by hooking him up on the shop team. Look for his profile coming soon to the new skate team page on the site. We have the
new Black label Crime Scene decks coming this week as well as some Baker and DGK. Also the new design of the Conversion
decks are in stock. I havnt updated the skate inventory on the site for awhile but Ill have it knocked out
by the weekend so keep checkin back.

Weekend Update
Depre knows Im a sucka for the old school and has to listen to my"back
in the day" ramblings way too often so Im sure he got a big kick out of sending me pics of him doing Indian Airs.
Its gona be hotter than hell this weekend but weve got the AC cranked up at the shop so get out of the heat, stop
by, cool off and ride the mini. Other than that its business as usual.

Wednesdays Rule
In just got done a killer skate session. You see every Wednesday, the Groove
Merchants staff, gets together to blow off some steam, session the secret mini and have a few brews. I seriously look forward
to Wednesday nights. The ramp just got replyed and the Red Stripe was flowin'. I managed to drag myself away from skating
long enough to snap a few pictures. No joke this ramp is the biggest and best around.
We received a small BMX
shipment today with the new 9 oz. Profile frontload stems and Odyssey Sr. Denim seats. Their limited so get em while their
available.

Groove Merchants Summer of Domination
While Steve and Tom were holding down the shop the Groove Merchants/Fly
Racing team were busy kicking some serious ass in Cumberland MD at the regional national this weekend. We started
off the weekend right by adding Chad Harner to the team then preceded to have the whole team make their mains on Saturday.
Sporting the new Fly 303 jerseys you could see the fear in the other teams eyes as if being invaded by the vikings. Hear me
now and remember later the summer of DOMINATION has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
