The big news is we have finally started building up a skate team. Its been a long time coming and Ive put a ton of thought into it. We have picked up Sign skateboards Nathan Lode. We think alot alike and I have been stoked on his style for along time. The boy has skillzz son and hes a good dude. We are super happy to have him repping the shop. Welcome to the team Nate!!
  As for the Halloween Massacre Comp... Well, if you missed it you missed out on some amazing skating. We had two classes and a six pack style format. The six pack format is basically this. You have to pull six tricks from the time you drop in. Three on each side of the ramp with someone being dropped each round until its narrowed to two and they square off for two six packs. It makes things hard because, with only six runs, theres no time for little rock to fakies or bullshit but if you screw up early in the six pack your out.
  13 and under went off first.  And it was fast paced ripping right away. Adam Carr went off with back to back shuvit rock to fakies. But when the smoke cleared it was Zack Dawson and Mark Peacemaker left.  A fall early in the final round from Mark left the door open for Zack to put in a flawless run and the win.
   !4 and over was a no holds barred battle royal of skating. Gary Saxe held his own with solid runs but it ended up with Sign skateboards' Nathan Lode and Thomas Bergemen. Thomas put in killer runs every round but Nathan sealed the deal with a wallride to fakie back in. No shit a wallride.

   We love Halloween here at the Groove so were having a big party and Mini Ramp skate Comp to celebrate.  The Halloween Ramp Massacre will be Friday Oct 26 at 6pm. There will be three class's again. 13 & under, 14 & over and a 30 and over Masters class. Its free to enter with prizes for first place only. You must be signed up no later than 6:30. There will be plenty of free food. We will also be open late until 11:00 for an afterparty. Its gona be a banger so dont miss out.

  We have all sizes and colors of Animals Sprocky Balboa sprocket in stock. If you have seen one these things you know they are dope. They use different size adapters that get rid of the need for a sprocket bolt. Which means you can run super small gearing even if your crank arm doesnt have the extra hole for smaller gears. They are super light too. We also got in the new Skavenger DVD and new Animal black stiched 59fifty hats as well as limited edition colors of Odyssey EVO brakes.

  I have no idea how Depre got into this ditch wallride but you can bet it wasn't easy. Ditchs are sketchy things. Not only are they filled with bum shit, used needles and more disease than a third world nation but if things go bad the rough concrete can leave your whole world hurting. Depre not only handles it but makes the shit look easy.
  In BMX news the '08 Premium and Haro completes are in stock and look good. Make sure you stop by and peep them. Also the new Animal sprockets, 59 fifty hats and the new Skavenger DVD will be in stock on Monday.
  In Skate news we have restocked our 1031 Cheap Son of a Bitch decks (for those bros. on a budget) and received some of the new Autobahn and Darkstar wheels.
