My Grass is Blue...
Ryan and I are heading down to the Bluegrass state, to Louisville Kentucky, for
the NBL Grands this weekend. Theres nothing like a weekend of beers, bros. and BMX. This is my 14th Grands and I have yet
to ever make a damn main event there so wish me some luck. We'll be hitting up the park while we are there too and
I'll try and get some pics posted up. Ken will be in the pilots seat at the shop all weekend for your BMX needs.
Lots of new stuff heading our way this week and next. By the way, have you seen our line of custom wheels we have
been building?? Why buy a stock wheel when, for the same price, you can get one with rims you actually want and in colors!!

The Slacker and the Groove...
It's been going around the rumor mills for months and it's way overdue...
Slacker Joey Richards is now officially riding for the Groove. He joins Dan Depre, Ken Hensell and the Groove RaceTeam. Putting
someone new on the team is a pretty damn big deal here. We have had exactly one lineup change in three years. And if you have
ever had the pleasure of riding with Joey or seeing his web edits you know he damn well deserves it. Look for his bio on the
team page coming soon and look for big things coming from the Groove the rest of the year and '09. Sorry it took us so
long Joey, you kick ass!!!

'09 Fit Completes by September 1...
The '09 Fit Completes are due in by the beginning of September and we
will be carrying the whole line. Checkout the Fit website for spy pics. S&M has new tuffman sprockets and rednecks done
with the classic shield and we'll have 'em in next week. Odyssey PC's in limited colors and griswald grips will
be here soon. Also the new Animal jeans and Hamilton PC's are on their way soon as well.

Dragon Edit...
I dont know if you checked out the webedit on our myspace featuring Dan, Ken,
Jimmy, Ryan and a drunken latino. If you did then you will remember the end of the video where a simple minded lad named
Dragon is chugging Jose Quervo and calling it champagne. Dan and Bean have done a new webedit featuring Dragon

BBQ and Comp Wrap Up...
Where do I begin?? The Groove BBQ and Street Comp was simply crazy. If you
weren't there it was basically this... Forty plus guys ripping around the streets of Martinsburg filming video clips to
be judged later while everyone noshed some BBQ and swilled brews. Theres no way I can describe the footage that was shot
and how loose things got at the BBQ to do it any justice. It was simply kickass and unbeleivable. Two separate altercations
with John Law and despite trying no booby shots. Like Bigfoot or the Lochness Monster the mysterious Midget Jan Michaels was
sighted riding and rode well. Slacker Joey and Notorious Nate destroyed every burly thing in sight and Dan and Bean made
shit look easy.
Alex Hartofeli s had the best team name with Team West Virginia Thunder Pussy.On a bad note shop
employee OG Ken Hensell broke his leg in two places on a 360 into bank gone wrong. Heal up quick Ken. I'll be posting
up more pics from the BBQ all week and Matt Hovermale will be throwing out a web edit so you can see the riding for yourself.

The Animal Wedgie..
We got in the new Animal Wedgie Pivital Post today. It uses a wedge,
much like the ones used on old school quilled stems, to lock down in your seatpost tube eliminating the need for a seatpost
clamp and saving you some weight. I have always been sort of fond of seatpost clamps and am sad to see their eminate
extinction but its all in the name of progress. Right??
