Quite an ecletic mix of things are hitting the shop this week...  New Tee's from Slacker and Those Kids are in stock now featuring the Radio Rahkeem tee. Do the Right Thing like Spike Lee and grab one before their gone. G Sport Plegs in translucent colors are here as well as Gold Odyssey Hazard Lite rims. Fit FAF 2.3 Tires!!! We have also some how lucked into a CHROME S&M 38 SPECIAL CRUISER FRAME. If you race, like S&M, and dig cruisers then you know these are super rare (S&M only makes ten or so at a time). So don't hesitate to hit us up and grab before its too late.

  Grooves' second annual Summer Jam went down last Sunday at Cluggys Skatepark in PA. The Summer Jam is my favorite comp because we use it to celebrate the shops anniversary.  If you missed it then you missed some of the best riding this area has ever seen. Instead of boring you with all the tricks that went down, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but know this... 47 guys entered (23 in AM alone) with a jam style format. From Beginner to Pro shit was on.
  We'll be adding more each day this week and there should be a web edit coming soon. Thanks go out to Those Kids and Slacker Clothing Companys, Groove Merchants, Premium, Haro, Kink, S&M, and Fit, Smooth B for rockin' the mic all day, all my judges and team riders, Marty Wassler, Brandon Scully, and Matt Hovermale for pics,but the HUGE thanks goes to the evrybody who rode. It wouldn't be a comp without riders.

  In case you missed it somehow, Slacker Joey Richards' edit made www.thecomeupbmx.net  and www.bmxonline.com websites Monday to rave reviews. If you havn't seen it, go there now. Big props to Matt Hovermale for, yet another, damn fine production.
   Word also came today that Haro/Premium is giving Joey the nod to start getting flow through the shop. Expect to see Joey sporting the new '09 Haro Convert frame in the next week or so. Congrats Joey...

  Groove Merchants presents Summer Jam at Cluggys Skatepark in Chambersburg PA. Sunday, May 24th @ Noon. (Check the links page for directions) 
  Here's the breakdown on the comp... Practice starts at noon with the comp beginning at 2pm. Were expecting alot of riders so the park will be crowded, make sure you get there early for plenty of practice. There will be four classes. Beginner, Am, 30 & over, and Pro. You decide for yourself which class you wana be in. Of course Am will have better prizes than Beginner and Pro gets paid CASH. 30 & over will receive a knee replacement!
  It's a $10 entry fee and, no matter what you place, you will walk away with more than $10 worth of product. Thanks to Premium, Haro, Kink, S&M, Fit, Slacker, Those Kids and the Groove.
  We've had alot of questions and concerns on the format.... ALL classes will be JAM STYLE Format except for Pro (which will have timed runs).   The brand new '10  Kink completes should be showing up at the shop on Monday and we will have the whole line in stock. They look super good this year and have added a Chris Doyle signature and also a low end model called the Curb which will sell for $244.99.
  We have also restocked on all Shadow parts including 'Lil Pegs in all colors. Don't forget the Sunday DVD Premier Friday @ 8pm, in the shop.

  The Groove is proud to announce that Sunday has asked us to host a premier for their new DVD "Up, UP and Away". It will be Friday, May 15th @ 8pm.  We will only be doing one showing and it will be super packed out so come early for good seating.

  Yet another rainy day. The Groove Speed Clinic, that was supposed to be at H-Town BMX yesterday, was canceled. We'll be posting a make up date for that soon. The "RAD" showing Saturday night was a success, from what I can remember.
