The Directors Chair, March 2011...
We finally got in a batch of Terrible One, Ruben Frames this week. Availablity
is super limited on these, don't wait around if you have been wanting one. $309.99 is a small price to pay for a little peice
of Austin, Texas goodness. Awhile back we were told Pro Tec was discontinueing the Pro Tec Laseck Translucent Helmets... Apparently
this was false as we now have a full rack of them in Trans. white, blue and green for $34.99.

BMX Track Director and Groove/Haro Race Team Manager has started a monthly column on this site, aptley named, "The
Directors Chair" to keep everybody informed and up-to-date on the four-state BMX Racing scene. So without further
a-do here is the first installment of "The Directors Chair"...
"Desperatly Seeking Spring"
Regardless what the Groundhog has predicted, Winter can't end soon enough
for the Fourstate BMXers. With the rescent warm spell, folks are more than excited to get out of the house and knock the rust
off themselves and their bikes.
The 2011 season will be in full swing soon enough and with the NBL rolling out
the "Buffet Option" for all levels of competition, rider counts should be at record highs. The "Buffet Option"
(which was given it's name no more than 6 seconds ago when I typed it) goes as follows:
-Unlimited Local, Challenge
or National Races (depending on what level you enroll with)
That's right your buck goes farther than ever before. The
NBL has even setup convenient monthly payment options.
Now some of you may be new to the sport of BMX Racing,
and are asking "What does all this mean"? Just a little background info... It's possible you have been riding your
BMX bike without understanding the meaning behind BMX.
BMX= is the short way of saying Bicycle Motocross, The
X representing Cross. (give it a sec and it will sink in)
So most of you have been running around telling chicks
and scenester girls that your a BMX'er without ever engaging in the sport of BMX. Here's your chance to right the wrong. Most
tracks offer newbies, to the sport, a chance to race their first race for FREE!!! What other sport offers that?? Answer: None
If you have the itch (shameless Kixx reference) head over to your local BMX Track and give it a try. Here's a short

All The Small Things...
At one time you could only get Odyssey Cassette small parts through the
Odyssey website, well the times have changed and we finally got our hands on the Odyssey 3/8" Conversion Kits. They
fit the V3 Cassette and hubs that are Odyssey compatible. Guys were hacking down their 14mm axles and tapping the ends to
use female style bolts so Odyssey came out with an axle conversion kit to use 3/8" and female style bolts. We now have
them in stock for $20 (easy to install 14mm adapters are available for $4) and also we loaded up on all that hard to
find Odyssey cassette hardware including paws, springs (for V2 & V3), driver side nuts and fat opposite side nuts. Plus

Groove is ready to get on the gate for 2011...
2011 Fly Race Gear dropped this week. All styles, colors and sizes (including
youth sizes) of Fly Gloves are here as well as 2011 Fly Lancer Full Face Helmets, Jerseys, Goggles ect... We are also
now stocking Dragon Goggles and Glass's.
We added alot of new inventory for Racing this year including full product
lines from Morphine Industrys, Sinz, Crupi and Supercross. We're ready to get on the gate for the 2011 Race season. Are you???

are back in stock (in all colors), Astroglide Linear Cables and Astroglide Gyro Lowers (both in all colors), Snafu pivotal
seats and clamps (all colors), Colony PC pedals, TSG knee and shin guards, new Shit Luck tee's and way more than I
care to type.
For the fashion aware among us, Odyssey's new Limited Edition Colors are Safety Orange and Kelly
Green and it looks like all of those Ltd. parts will be sitting in the shop by March 1st. Feel free to pre-order any of it
because, as always, it won't last long.

We brought the Hell...
The Baltimore Trip went down last Sunday and it was a whopper of
a good time. Big THANKS to everybody who drove, ordered pizza, loaded bikes or pitched in to make it a success. And Thanks
of course to everbody who paid and went, without you guys it wouldn't even be possible. Thanks also to Charm City Skatepark
for putting up with us for another year. The weather was perfect and the street schralpers got a taste of B-More street
and others put in a solid eight hour workday of park riding. Stay tuned for pics, from Sunday, which we'll be posting
up all week. The next Groove event will be our annual Swap Meet, Relay Race and Jam in March. Stay on the lookout for
the flyer coming soon...

We'll be "Bringin' Hell to Baltimore" this Sunday at 11:15 am...
The Groove "Bringin Hell to Baltimore" Charm City Trip is officially
SOLD OUT. If you were lucky enough to get signed up and paid, you must be at the shop Sunday morning (2/6/2011) at 11:15am.
We will be loading all the vehicles in our parking lot beside the shop and leaving at 11:30. VERY IMPORTANT... you MUST check
in with Jamie and get your wrist band before you get in a vehicle that morning. If you DO NOT have a wristband you WILL NOT
be allowed in the park from 6pm-9pm, during our private rental. We WILL be going Sunday regardless of any type of weather.
However it looks like street riding might be tough so be sure to bring an extra $5 so you can ride, with the public in
the park, from 1pm-6pm, Also bring a few bucks for pizza if you wana eat and BRING YOUR HELMET. We will be
