Fit Bike Night at the Martinsburg Indoor Skatepark this Saturday (Feb 11th) 8-10pm...
Help Groove Merchants & Fit Bike Co. welcome Ken Hensell to the Fit Bikes
full Flow Team this Saturday night (Feb. 11) from 8-10pm. Long time Groove Team rider OG Ken Hensell has taken a spot on the
Fit Team and we couldn't be more stoked for him. To celebrate we have joined forces with Fit Bikes to throw a Jam. Starting
at 8pm the Martinsburg Indoor Park will be open to everyone for FREE!!!! (please NO Scooters or Skateboards). Fit will be
giving away prizes every 10 minutes ALL night. You can checkout Fit's brand new MAC Frame. OG Ken will be riding along with
a sampling of Fit Shiv 2 Forks, Sky High Bars and the new Fit Foster stem. Expect some surprises from Fit as well. This is
sure to be the BMX event of the winter and a chance to ride the Indoor Park with the whole Groove Team for FREE!!! Mark your
calenders and don't miss out.

10 Years of the Groove...
Happy New Year!!!! Thanks to everybody who helped make 2011 our best year ever
at the Groove!!! 2012 marks our 10 year shop anniversary. In ten years we have seen alot change in BMX but alot has stayed
the same. Companys, styles and pro's have come and gone, we've managed to survive in a terrible economic climate and we're
far from rich. But, we're still here and still running a BMX ONLY shop for the right reasons. We have always strived to help
you, the riders, build and maintain a great BMX scene and we definitly have one. Look for big things from us in 2012. You
know how much we like to celebrate!!! So 10 years will be a year long whopper of a celebration. Starting with our 6th Annual
Charm City trip in February, contests & jams throughout the year, Pro's visiting the shop, Re-Issue's of retired Groove
Tee's and much more. Thanks for the last 10 years and thanks for the next 10!!!

Groove's Holiday Hours and Sales...
The Groove will be OPEN everyday, now until Christmas Eve. Hours are Monday
5-9pm, Tues. 3-8pm, Weds. 3-8pm, Thurs. 3-8pm, Friday Noon-9pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday Noon-4pm. We will be OPEN Christmas

Groove's Photo Contest...
You may have seen our flyer on facebook... We are indeed having a photo contest;
here's the lowdown on it....
1. It is FREE to enter; and you may enter as many photo's as you want. The more you
enter the better your chances.
2. Don't think because you don't have a million dollar camera setup, that you have
any less chance of winning. Some of the best pics I've ever seen have been taken with the shittiest equipment.
3.
Your photo must have something to do with BMX or Skate; It does NOT have to be an action shot. Do a artsy fartsy picture
of a quarter pipe or your favorite street spot... You get the idea.
4. Your photo must be submitted in a 11x14
format. Befor you get all pissy about this, it's easy. Just take whatever you used to take the pic with to a Walgreens or
CVS, Walmart or whatever and plug it into one of their computers, Its easy, quick and cost $3.14. You will also have a phto
shop option there.
5. Speaking of photo shop... You may photo shop[ the hell out of your pic. No rules here. Do
whatever makes you happy.
6. You must drop you photo off at the shop. We will Matte it for free for you and hang
them galley style, in the shop, until the judging on Saturday, Nov. 13.
7. Saturday Nov. 13 at 6pm we will have
a gallery style opening at the shop. Your photos will be judged by a professional action sports photographer and the winner
will receive a new PREMIUM DAN FOLEY FRAME and have their photo framed. *note here, the photographer wins the frame. NOT the
persons featured in the photo. This is NOT a best trick contest.
8. If the photographer wishs, you price your photo
and will be able to sell your photo at the Gallery Opening.
9. Remember this is for fun. Take it serious if you
want, but anyone can snap a good photo. Click off a few pics ofm your homies riding and who knows what can happen.
